Rainy day sloth #12 & 35

At least it's under warranty
My digital camera is under the weather and on its way to the Nikon hospital. In the meantime, I'll post some older pics of my feet that I took before I had a blog.
Here's the series that started it all.
It was a rainy, April, Sunday afternoon at Coney Island...

My best friend, Angela, is visiting from NC. We spent a leisurely Sunday afternoon eating, talking, getting our nails done, talking, eating, drinking and talking.
Tomorrow we're going to the MoMa.

Relaxing with Thunder (and the other Chicken boosters) after the show
Chicken Ranch had our second show in two days at
the PIT last night, performing for a crowd full of friends: old, new and yet-to-be. We shared the hour slot with
Bernat & Goerlich Doin' the Doc, featuring Jeff Scherer as the Director. They are some funny, funny kids.
Chickens heart the PIT. B'GAWK!

Slightly nervous on stage
Chicken Ranch, the all-chica improv troupe I am lucky and thrilled to be a part of, had our first gig at
Ash Wednesday last night. We shared the stage with some terrific stand-up comics and improv teams, including the host group,
Evel Cathedral. Thanks Chris, Rachel and Stan for having us and the supportive crowd for laughing. Chickens heart 'Schweds.
We have gigs at the
PIT tomorrow and next Thursday, followed by
Variety Underground on April 7.
After that, we're off to NC for UNC-Chapel Hill's comedy festival, featuring the likes of Lewis Black, Rory Albanese, Eric Drysdale and Lynne Koplitz. Our director, force of goodness and light,
Jen Nails, will be conducting an improv workshop and the
Ranch will headline on Friday, April 15. ROADTRIP!
B'GAWK!

Breathing a huge sigh of relief
After nine long months, I made my final additions and edits to the book on Tuesday. The Gs took me out to
Jake's to celebrate. The good lady doctors Nowak, Weiss, Medlin and Kingman were in attendance, as were Masters Scherer, Smith, and Vitale. Raise a glass, kids.

I am hours away from finishing my ghostwriting job, so I thought I should write something here. Something.
