LBI with SLT: bring the SPF

Thanks to Delawarrior Sarah Lane's generosity, I was able to escape the city for an unprecedented second weekend in a row. Kelly and I hopped a Port Authority bus Saturday afternoon, and were on Long Beach Island off the Jersey shore just a few hours later.

Everything was perfect - from the beach house deck

and the little sandpiper I chased for most of Sunday





to the full-body exfoliation I received courtesy of some bodacious waves.





Enough sun for me for one day, I read in the shade of the umbrella, while
SLT and Kelly bronzed.



If I'd been able to shrink myself enough to live in that sand castle, I would have, but alas...
