Brendan and I went up to Croton Point Park on Saturday for the Clearwater Festival. It was a nearly perfect day. We stood this close to Pete Seeger, drank ginger/pineapple juice and bought lefty message-laden merchandise:

It was so nice to get out of the city and walk barefoot in the grass; and I can't remember the last time I watched a sunset. Sometimes, I forget this island has bridges.


*Brendan was appalled I'd never seen North By Northwest. It's okay now.
