Avoiding blisters
and fascinating my instructor at the same time
My shoes were rubbing my toes in a mildly painful, yet potentially blister-inducing way, so I shed them for improv class, snubbing my nose (toes?) at the one rule I have faithfully observed from my days as an acting student: never go barefoot on stage. Take that John Oertling. Your rules have been holding me back for far too long.
Thanks, Jay Rhoderick, for setting my feet (and my inner artist) free.
